Refreshing viewpoint

Dear Editor,

It was so refreshing to finally read a story that has all the correct information in it. ["More troops won't change the culture" (http://www.mccookgazette.com/story/1184841.html)]:

I admired what Gloria has said, and I quote, "this war in Iraq started long, long ago, before America was even a country."

I'm very confused as to why we continue to fight a war that isn't ours, and I wonder when Bush is going to figure that out. And, I wonder why the American people have to pay for the president's mistakes. I only hope this war in Iraq will end ...

Let's stop this nonsense and bring our soldiers home for good.
