Bilked again

Dear Editor,

I was paying my property tax and was reminded of the of the $25,814 that the Village of Wilsonville receives from the state.

I would have thought that some of the money could possibly be spent to help clean the streets of snow for the safety aspects and accommodate the elderly this winter, and all this while the village tractor sits idle.

I then remembered, The board has a tight budget with $400-$600 dollars a month going to sue some of the residents of Wilsonville. Again, I was reminded that once you are elected to the board, you can select the personal issues that you want want to enforce or who you want to enforce them on.
