Season ends for Bison 7th grade volleyball team

The McCook Junior High School seventh grade volleyball A, B and C teams ended their season at home against Lexington Thursday (Sept. 28).

The A team lost 25-15, 14-25, 15-12. Jackie Carfield served 9 unanswered points in the match for the Bison.

The B team also lost in three games 12-25, 25-15, 15-8. Jasmine Fassler served 8 points and Moriah Sayler 6.

The C team came away with a 25-16, 14-25, 15-11 win.

Haylee Carfield served 8 unanswered points in one game. Angela Brown served 7 points in one game and 5 in another.

"I was very proud of the C team's joint effort," said coach Lori Jumps. "They really played well as a unit. All of the girls made progress throughout the season, which was one of our main goals. We are already looking forward to next season."
