Letter to the Editor

Plenty busy

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

Dear Editor,

When Mayor Berry withdrew from consideration for the Regent's post he was quoted as wanting to concentrate on lowering taxes and dealing with other city issues.

Mayor Berry didn't mention a need to spend more time at his job as a principal in the McCook Schools.

Next time the McCook school board cuts spending they should look at a highly paid administrative position that does not take any time or energy to fulfill.

Our administrators here in Hitchcock County are fully occupied with their school duties.

Arlan Klein,

Culbertson
