Letter to the Editor

Let readers decide

Monday, July 17, 2006

Dear Editor,

The gay marriage debate continues across the country, and even those of us in Massachusetts can respect the decisions made in other states. However, with a title of "Common sense prevails" in reference to denying gays marriage rights, this article loses objectivity.

I hold your paper to the same standards of any paper I read, and ask that opinions be kept to the op-ed, while the articles are written to let the readers decide, on their own, where they stand on an issue.

Eric Whitney,
