Oppose NAIS

Dear Editor,

Thank you for this article (Open Forum "Nightmare system" http://www.mccook gazette.com/story/1158281.html). We need to raise awareness of this program that will harm small local farms and homesteaders while helping the big factory farms. NAIS is bad news and not just for livestock owners -- NAIS will reduce selection and increase food prices for consumers as more and more of our national food supply is concentrated into the hands of fewer and fewer large corporations.
