Letter to the Editor

Biblical humor

Friday, June 23, 2006

Dear Editor,

I offer my apologies to those readers who are sick and tired of the religious nuts who take advantage of the kind folks who put out the Gazette.

I offered some humor attached to and derived from the Bible. I hope most of you got a chuckle out of what I sent.

Laughter is the best medicine for a world gone gooney.

I do offer my bonafides. I attended college as a pre-theological student, eventually became a licensed pastor, have read hundreds of books on religions used and invented around the world, studied bibles, texts, ideologies, and wild eyed ideas from purveyors of lame brain philosophies for many years, and it still amazes me how some few think they have it all figured out, and can be so blind to reality.

These are my last words (I can hear you cheering!) For those of you who think you have all the answers -- pull your head out of the sand -- ostriches do that to find water.

Or, if this would work better, put a window in your stomach so you might glimpse where you are going and touch base with reality.

Writer Ray,

Palisade
