California kookiness?

Dear Editor,

I never thought I'd see the day when Nebraska would be the butt of jokes here in Kooksville.

I'm referring to the political decision where Omaha was recently split into three separate school districts, one for Latinos, one for blacks, and one for whites. I thought segregation was ended by the Supreme Court 50 years ago.

The other incident was where some middle-aged pervert had sex with a 15-year-old girl and was given probation by some screwball judge who said he was too short to be sent. to prison, where he "might have a hard time surviving."

Beware, Nebraskans. The sickness of California is spreading to your state, and beyond, in all its manifestations.
