Pro not at fault

Dear Editor,

It has been brought to my attention that moving the tees back for the golf scramble I wrote about in my column last week was the decision of the event coordinator and not the golf pro.

The coordinator of the event represented the group putting on the tournament and was not directly associated with the golf course in any capacity. 

The column was not intended to be derisive towards any particular individual and I apologize for my error.
