Grosse birthday
The family of E. Morten "Bud" Grosse of Greeley, Colo., is hosting an open house reception and card shower in celebration of his 90th birthday on Monday. Bud was born in Stratton and was the proprietor of the IGA store there from 1947 until 1968. His mother ran a department store in Stratton that was founded by her parents in 1887. He was born March 27, 1916. An April 1 open house is planned for April 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. at 5103 West 12th Street in Greeley. His family includes three daughters, Beverly and husband, Bruce Williams of Greeley, Marcia and husband, Lou Terracio of New York and Karen Grosse of Larkspur, Calif.; one son Bruce Grosse of San Rafael, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
