Is profiling bad?

Monday, January 9, 2006

Dear Editor,

I hear all the rhetoric about "radial profiling" and the "Patriot Act," so I got to thinking; is profiling really that bad?

In Iraq, there is no profiling of terrorist or good people alike. I am sure if the terrorists were fair-skinned, they would be profiled instantly.

The ACLU and associates want privacy over security.

If I am not doing anything illegal or immoral, what does it matter what they know about me?

Just some thoughts on the subject.

Cloyd Peters,

McCook
