NCTA Aggies win 3rd game

CURTIS -- The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Aggie men's basketball team put another one away in the victory column as they downed a University of Nebraska-Kearney Club team on Monday night by a score of 109-73.

NCTA has a 3-3 record going into the Holiday Season.

The Aggies jumped off to a lead and led 47-34 by the halftime.

"Some good shooting and a fast-breaking allowed the team some excellent opportunities," said coach Del Van Der Werff.

The squad from Curtis shot 55 percent from the field.

Mike Lampman of Haxtun, Colo., topped the scoring with 32 points.

He was followed by Nolan Troupe of Guernsey, Wyo., Matt Klima of Wauneta and Brad Nab of Crook, Colo., who all scored 17 points.

Andrew McKinzie of Callaway pulled down 9 rebounds while teammate Andrew Golka of Guide Rock got 8.

Nab had one of his best nights by shooting 8 for 9.
