'School' as a verb

Wednesday, November 16, 2005

Dear Editor,

There are plenty of schools in the California government school system that have names of local prominent citizens where the ceilings are falling in and the grade point average is the lowest in the country.

Don't honor a building with a name, but rather honor the fine educators for what they do in it.

If there is one thing I've learned from B. Talkington or Dott Britt it's that the word "school" is more powerful as a verb than a noun.
