Honor Coleman

Dear Editor,

I am a true believer in the McCook school system and the McCook community.

I see that a name for the new elementary school is being talked about. How about this idea. Name the school Coleman Elementary after the late Ron Coleman who taught so many kids PE and was a man of respect in the community that no one ever doubt why his name would be attached to the school.

I do not know a soul there who would say no to this idea and if someone did then shame on them.

I hope you can relay this message to the appropriate people.

I am a former resident of McCook and Ron Coleman, Jeff Gross, and a couple others are a reason why I am a stronger man today. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears.
