I would like to comment on George Anderson's Open Forum letter published 9-1-2005.

Mr. Anderson was replying to a letter in the Gazette dated, to quote, "8-22 A.D. 2005."

Mr. Anderson, I am so glad you referenced "A.D." in the date; otherwise, some of us might have assumed you were replying to a letter in the Gazette dated 8-22 B.C. 2005.
