Dora Michel

Dora (Wicke) Michel, formerly of Atwood, will celebrate her 100th birthday Aug. 2, with a card shower. An open house planned for Sunday, July 31, 2005, has been canceled due to family health issues. Her family includes children, Berniece Morgan of Mayetta, Kan., Cathi Michel of Newton, Kan., Richard and Judy Michel of Ludell, Kan., and Sylvia and Bill Meyer of Topeka, Kan. She was born Aug. 2, 1905, to Christian and Meta Wicke on a farm north of Ludell, Kan. Birthday greetings will reach her at 104 E. Jones, PO Box 244, Mayetta, KS 66509.
