Letter to the Editor

Burr in the saddle

Friday, July 8, 2005

Dear Editor,

Who in the world appointed Ted Kennedy to be the judge of the Supreme Court nominees?

Ted Kennedy judging anyone is extremely hypocritical to say the least. Senator Kennedy needs to judge himself with the same zeal that he uses against the conservative nominees. He can start with July 19, A.D.1969, when he violated the civil liberties of Mary Jo Kopechne in Chappaquiddick Creek. Permanently.

The reason Senator Kennedy did not resign at that time is shown in the Holy Bible: "The unjust knoweth no shame." (Zephaniah 3:5e.) Ted Kennedy, a burr in the saddle of this great Republic.

Sincerely,

George R. Anderson

McCook
