OMAHA -- Angie Johnson and Chris Claussen of Olathe, Kan., exchanged wedding vows May 6, 2005, at Rockbrook United Methodist Church in Omaha. The Rev. Janice Japp officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Ranell Johnson of Auburn, Neb., and Cathy Claussen of Oberlin, Kan., and the late Chuck Claussen.

Kristen Harth of Olathe and Megan Skalberg of Omaha lighted the candles. Ushering the guests were Matt Ostmeyer of Ellis, Kan.; Dave Johnson of Woodbridge, Iowa, uncle of the bridegroom; Trey Cavanah of Richmond, Mo.; and Sean Frazier of Weston, Mo.

Kori Skidmore of Chicago, Ill., cousin of the bride, played the organ. The soloist was Tim Marsden of Omaha.

Michelle Johnson of Omaha, the sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelli Hawkins of Bellevue, Chandra Claassen of St. Louis, Mo., Kerry Hatzenbuehler of Wichita, Shannon Stych of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Sarah Barta of Omaha.

Cale Claussen of Baldwin City, Kan., served his brother as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Nate Beissenherz of Concordia, Mo., Michael Compton of Neosho, Mo.,

Ben Hass of Weston, Mo., Jared Ediger of Golden, Colo., and Tim Kalkman of Olathe.

Jim and Bonnie Bamsey of Norfolk and Dave and Patty Stapp of Norcatur, Kan., hosted the reception at the Georgetowne Club. Registering the guests were Pat and Dan Skalberg of Norfolk.

The couple honeymooned at Sandals Whitehouse Resort in Jamaica.

Angie earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master of science degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kansas. She is employed by the University of Kansas.

Chris earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from Baker University and a master of science degree in education from the University of Kansas. He is employed by Westminster College as the regional director of enrollment services.

The couple will live in Olathe.
