Lucille R. McBee

TUCSON, ARIZ. -- Lucille R. (Ball) McBee, 91, died Nov. 22, 2004, in Tucson, Ariz.

She was born in Danbury on May 19, 1913, to Thomas and Alma (Hayes) Ball. She attended school in Danbury.

On Oct. 10, 1936, she married Ora Franklin McBee. They farmed north of Culbertson, and moved to McCook in 1985. She has resided in Arizona since 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1987; and a daughter-in-law, Jan McBee.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris and husband Leo Smith of Arizona; three sons, Steve McBee and wife, Karen of Kearney, Ward McBee and wife, Lois of Arizona, and John "Tom" McBee of Trenton; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Herrmann Chapel in Culbertson with the Rev. Dan Spearow officiating. Internment will be at the Culbertson Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name and left at the funeral home.
