At it again

Our gutless City Council's at it again. A few people show up with the "poor me" speech and dollar signs in their eyes and our community college, which is a large employer of the city and a vital part of McCook's future get shut down by our council on creating extra parking for our expansion, already done in the past few years, which definitely, definitely needed. If this city had any guts, it would use its legal ability to buy either a half block or whole block of homes for the college for parking and future expansion, and send these boo-hoo people packing to other locations where people parking cars will never disturb them. Hey, maybe let's close our college and move everything to North Platte where they support college expansion. Please call your city councilman and let him know what you think.
