Letter to the Editor

Agree with book

Friday, September 17, 2004

Dear Editor,

If you ask me, there are a few secrets that need to be revealed concerning Sen. John Kerry before the election. I am stymied by the fact that Sen. Kerry will not simply sign standard form 180, that would release all his military and medical records for public scrutiny.

Late in 1971, Macmillan Publishing brought out Kerry's book, "The New Soldier" in hardcover. John Kerry is the author of this book.

On the front of the dust jacket cover is a photo of a motley group of bearded youths, dressed up in various types of military garb, carrying an American flag upside down, the Demon-strators arrayed in a formation that mocks the flag raising at Iwo Jima.

I personally saw this picture once, and it made me want to gage. I could go on and on, but I will just briefly state that I agree wholeheartedly with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and their book, "Unfit For Command."

Sincerely,

George R. Anderson
