Save the pain

Dear Editor,

I am merely one of a multitude of people who agree with with Mike Pochop, concerning his letters to the editor.

Mike states that the Bible says "The fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom." Or in other words, "Sin will make you stupid." Or, as Dwight D. Eisenhower said it, "The spirit of man is more important than mere physical strength, and the spiritual fiber of a nation than its wealth."

All of us born again Christians have an advantage over the Godless, and one of the advantages is this: We have been where you are, but you haven't been where we are. I'll tell you right now, from personal experience, God is right! I can make an accurate comparison. So, save yourself a whole lot more pain and trouble and read the Bible. I know what I'm talking about! There is only one source of wisdom, Jesus Christ. "Know Jesus, know peace. No Jesus, no peace."
