High grass
Thursday, June 10, 2004
Dear Editor:
I live in Danbury and every night my wife has to drive down Highway 89 coming home from work and the grass along the edge of the road is higher than the car.
This is one of the most dangerous highways in the state for deer collisions but the road is still not mowed.
I am a farmer and I still have to farm my ground no matter what the fuel price is so why can't the state mow the roads for safety's sake?
Thank you
Dennis Walters
