Nomination

Dear Editor,

Hi, my name is Shelby. I am 11 years old. This is a unique nomination for Mother's Day. I would like to nominate my dad. My dad cooks, cleans, does laundry, does dishes and all the other things. He has been the closest thing to a mom since my mom died a couple of years ago. My dad has to take care of all the bills and he has to take care of my sister, my two older brothers and me. He has done everything, like keeping food on our table and taking care of one of us if we're sick. He never complains, either. He is the best dad and mom our family has ever had.
