Honor soldiers

Hello all!

What a great week it is in Southwest Nebraska!

God has blessed us with rain and bringing our soldiers home safe and sound! The Army Reserve came in on Thursday night and the National Guard Reserve on Monday afternoon. 

Saturday, May 1, there will be an 0pen house to Honor our "PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SOLDIERS" at the National Guard Armory from 2 - 4 p.m. I encourage you to come and Thank the soldiers for their sacrifices!

PAST meaning they have served and are back home, PRESENT meaning they are serving our country now, and FUTURE meaning if they will be leaving to serving our country in the near future.

Please submit your soldier's picture, so we can post them at the armory. You may pick up your picture on May 1st at the armory, if you would like it back. We would like to honor your soldier too!

Other information that is needed for the open house:

1. Their current contact information, name, rank and branch of service

2. If they will be attending the open house, asking that the soldiers to arrive in uniform at 1:45 pm to fill them in on the plans for the open house

3. If their spouse (if they have one) will be attending

4. If their parents will be attending

We still could use some help with setting up, cleaning up, decorations, cookies, cakes and serving. Please contact us if you would like to help. Cash donations are being accepted, any businesses that would like to help out would be greatly appreciated.
