Letter to the Editor

Walk around the wall

Thursday, April 22, 2004

Dear Editor,

The letter from Sarah McPhillips illustrates the frustration many a young artist experiences.

One must deal with the reality of the situation, not the ideal, just as one deals with the limitations placed on you by the materials you chose to use.

There are options as to where you show your work, some right here in McCook.

If your art is important to you, you will place where it can be shown.

Trust me, running into a wall head first hurts. You might try walking around the wall and hanging, or displaying, your work where it is wanted and appreciated.

Besides, bloody foreheads aren't very attractive.

Bill Coe,

Max
