Letter to the Editor

Thanks, doctor

Wednesday, February 4, 2004

Dear Editor,

On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to thank Dr. Grove for all he has done over the past few years as our family physician. He has provided us excellent care as well as help to make very difficult times less stressful and easier to deal with.

Both my sons were born with abdominal defects. My youngest son, Jordan, was born in Omaha and hospitalized there until he was three months old. Dr. Grove did an outstanding job of informing us what was wrong with our boys as well as the treatments they would be going through.

He also teamed us up with a wonderful group of surgeons in Omaha who performed both of my sons' surgeries. When Jordan was born, Dr. Grove still followed his progress and setbacks, even though he was in a hospital over 400 miles away.

We are very saddened to be losing such a wonderful man as our family physician. Dr. Grove, my family and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for us. We cannot possible express all of our gratitude. You have helped make our family possible. Please know that you will be missed and that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Good luck with all you set out to do.

Carrie and Randi Smith and sons

Bartley
