Misstate of the Union

This is concerning your column last week, titled "Bush: What he didn't say." It seems he skipped a lot of subjects that he wasn't too proud of, such as agriculture and the environment. No wonder.

There nothing for him in agriculture, such as large donations to his campaign, and his policy on the environment is so horrendous he didn't dare mention it, such as drilling for oil in national parks, the Arches National Park in Utah, for one.

We know he and his buddies has his eyes on the western Colorado plateau and the arctic wildlife refuge in Alaska. If they get these, the rest will be easy. His speech might be classified as "The Misstatement of the Union."
