Other innocents

Dear Editor,

Enclosed is an article from the Omaha World Herald on 1-6 A.D. 2004. "Anti-war ballad earns Nelson cheers."

I am compelled to comment that Willie Nelson should be commended that he has compassion for the innocent babies of the Iraqi war and also the mothers of American troops and the mothers of Iraqi casualties.

However, as far as I know, Willie has never hosted a fund raiser for the 44 million American babies who have been murdered through abortion.

Also, I believe that a fund raiser should be hosted by all country western singers for the innocent victims of drunk drivers. How many innocent people, in the last six thousand years have been injured or killed by alcohol consumption?

Being"properly"entertained can become very expensive. A few years back, my best friend said to me, "I would rather be led by Communists than Christians, if those were my only choices" The reason he said that was because he just didn't understand what Jesus is all about.

He never read the Holy Bible. Jesus is our loving Father. His love letter, to us, is called the Holy Bible. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, (mankind) the man Christ Jesus" 1 Tim. 2:5.

Here is something else to ponder: Some of those Iraqi babies were being used by adults as "shields."
