Congratulations

Dear Editor,

I would like to send my congratulations to Sheriff Mahon. I've been in Law Enforcement for 23 years and owe everything I know to the training, dedication and friendship I received from then "Sgt. Mahon" during my formative years as an officer with the McCook Police Department.

Congratulations to a wonderful guy who set the feet of so many officers on the right path to becoming good professional police officers!

She was with the McCook Police Department from 1980 to 1988. Along with Janice Walker and Jeannette Reed, McMullen founded the McCook Humane Society.
