Communist front

Dear Editor,

I am compelled to comment on the "Mike at Night" column of 11-15 A.D. 2003.

Roy Moore is a Vietnam veteran. He fought the communists in Vietnam, and he is fighting them now. The ACLU is a front for the communist party. Roy Moore recognizes them. In Vietnam, he could smell them, and he smells them now. Oliver North is a Vietnam veteran. A few years ago the communists tried to ruin him, and were unsuccessful. Oliver North and Roy Moore are both Born Again Christians.

In 1998, I was driving to work at 3 o'clock in the morning and a young lady driving about 90 miles an hour slammed into the back of my car, and fled the scene.

Although the frame was bent on my car, I followed her until her car stalled out, and she stopped in the median. As I got out of my car, the first words out of her mouth were "Look what you did to my car!"

This is the same way the communists fight. Whatever the communists are accusing Roy Moore of, is what the communists themselves are guilty of, and Roy Moore is innocent of those charges.

In 1950, Republican Senator Joseph R. McCarthy, stated in a speech that "In my opinion the State Department, which is one of the most important government departments, is thoroughly infested with communists"

He was accused of being on a "witch hunt" He wasn't hunting witches, he was hunting demons.

Take a look around today, was Joe right, or was Joe wrong? The fight in this country is between the God-fearing and the godless.

All of us Christians are covered by 1 Chronicles 16:22, Galatians 6:17 and 1 Corinthians 3:17. Psalm 53:1 and Psalm 35: 4-8 applies to the communists.

Jesus says in John 3:19, "... and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."

Don't get offended by me, I'm just telling you what the Word says.
