Regarding the picture of the kitten in the Humane Society ad; this was a joke that came over the Internet.

It seems that this guy kept hearing scratching on a window screen and thought a burglar was trying to get in, so he goes to get his gun, switches on the light, and here's this charming little kitten in the window.
