The account of Joe Urich's career was superb. Joe's life covered many years and his life touched many, many people in many different ways.

On Aug. 6, 1986, as Mrs. Edna Wendelin's funeral cortege was leaving St. John's Lutheran Church in Oberlin, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Urich were in the church entry.

The family of Mrs. Wendelin momentarily held up leaving while a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Joe took place. None of the family would have had it any other way.

It simply was Joe's legacy of his lifetime.
