Facts or fiction?

Dear Editor,

It's all about facts vs. fiction.

I'd like to make a few comments on George Anderson's reply. My letter to Mr. Schneider was referencing two items only. One, the "Founders" of our nation weren't around when the current Supreme Court building was built in the 1930s.

Two, the Ten Commandments aren't etched in stone in the Supreme Court. Go and see for yourself. Mr. Anderson and Mr. Schneider's replies should have been on those two points only, but they aren't.

I didn't get this information by reading history books that had been rewritten to have God erased. You're correct in that we shouldn't believe everything we read or see. It looks like some of your beliefs have fallen victim to misinformation.

Noah's Ark has not been found! CBS aired "The Incredible Discovery of Noah's Ark" by Sun International Pictures. CBS President Jeff Sagansky states that "There was clearly a hoax perpetrated … we're not sure whether it was on Sun International and CBS or whether it was on Time magazine."

A press release from Sun called it "sad and unfortunate the Dr. LaRue, a distinguished USC professor, would victimize Mr. Jammal and his family to execute a third party hoax in which he was the primary benefactor."

There have been many Ark sightings, but all have proven false. Why do they still look for it?

Please give references regarding science finding "a thin layer of skin on our teeth." I'm not finding any information on this.

Sounds like what happens when we don't brush our teeth. Maybe the local Dentists can elaborate.

EDITOR'S NOTE -- Anderson's letter included one sentence with typographical errors. It should have read: "If you want to read a book that is 100 percent accurate and true, read the Bible."
