Citizens should get involved

Dear Editor:

I would like to encourage everyone who lives in McCook and who will be affected by the water decision to fill out an application to serve on the water advisory committee. This is our opportunity to share opinions on the water issue and to let the City Council know how their decision is going to affect each of individually. We the people will be paying for the council's decision for a long time. Applications are available at the city offices. I hope to see you at the City Council meeting Jan. 21.
