Offensive remarks

Those of us who live in or have lived in trailer houses, modular homes, "whatever you want to call them," are profoundly offended by comments that they are "tin shanties," "ridiculous" "awful," "worse than garden sheds," and that "they shame the community."

Come down off your snobby high horses, men. Not everyone makes attorneys' or railroaders' salaries.

These structures can be very good homes. They can also be very good classrooms. It all depends on who inhabits them.
