Citations issued, police department continues theft investigation

A McCook man has been cited for an incident in which he provided alcohol to a McCook teenage girl Sunday afternoon. According to McCook Police Chief Ike Brown an investigation took place after an ambulance was called to a residence in the 1300 block of West F for the 13 to 14-year old teen.

The man has been cited on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and delivering alcohol to a minor.

Police have issued a citation for assault against an eight-year-old boy in an incident at Felling Field.

The citation stems from a incident which occurred Monday evening,

According to Brown the child threw a piece of cement which struck another child in the head and caused injury. Ambulance transport was declined for the injured child.

Police are also investigating the theft of several electronic items from a residence at 500 West C Street.
