Thoughts on Iraq

Dear Editor,

The president was quoting British intelligence when he stated that there was evidence of Iraq trying to purchase uranium from an African nation and said as much in his state of the union address. And as of today British intelligence stands by this claim.

The president relied on the FBI and CIA for his intelligence briefings, just as Bill Clinton did before he bombed Iraq back in 98.

Didn't we just fined several fighter jets buried in the desert? Is it so hard to believe that WMD's could still be hidden, they would take up much less room then the jets just found?

Mike forgot to mention that there was evidence found of a continuing biological, chemical and nuclear programs.

Before the war, opponents urged patience (like 12 years isn't being patient). After all, they claimed, the "inspections were working."

Now the vary same people demand and immediate "smoking gun" to the existence of WMD's.
