Freedom of religion

Dear Editor,

Those who would desecrate the flag, or refuse to salute it, ought not get a free public education!

Which of the Ten Commandments is a violation of the "Bill of Rights," United States Constitution?

Which of the Ten Commandments can you delete to improve any society?

Example #1: Doth not say "Love Roy Moore's God or the Baptists' God (Not any other church's god) but "Thy God"! If God is not thy Lord, the devil is!

The Ten Commandments and the "Bill of Rights" have made the U.S.A. the greatest Nation on Earth! If you object to them: "Show US a Better Way!" "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God ..." Ps. 14:1A.

Fundamentalists?

Dear Editor,

I must reply to the person who wrote the letter equating Christian Fundamentalists with Muslim Fundamentalists.

The word fundamental means foundational, basic. Every building must have a good foundation and the foundation for fundamental Christianity is love. First of all the love of God for lost, sinful people. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world (sinners) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8-9 says, But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. vs 9, Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath (Gods wrath) through Him.

As believers in Jesus Christ we are commanded to love one another. John 13:34-35 says, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another. vs 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

America is a unique nation because it was founded by fundamental Christians. Because Christians love their neighbors they have built and financially supported hospitals. Go to any city and you will find Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist and other churches that have hospitals. They have built and maintained orphanages and nursing homes.

When a person is down on their luck they receive welfare and food stamps, the result of Christian compassion. If they have pressing medical and other bills due to an accident or disease we hold pancake feeds or suppers, funds are set up at banks for people to give to in order to help out. The Methodists maintain a store where people can go in and buy things that have been donated by people, for 10 cents to a dollar or so.

Look at Habitat For Humanity. Christians donated their time and money to build a house for someone who wouldn't be able to afford a house otherwise. After World War II, the Marshall Plan was set up by our government to go in and rebuild Europe and Japan. Only a Christian nation would do that. The Bible commands us to love our enemies. What do fundamentalist Muslims do? They can only think about killing those who disagree with them. They hi-jack airplanes and fly them into the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon building and perhaps the White House if it had not been for the bravery of Todd Beemer and others on that plane. "Lets roll!"

Ayatollah Khomeni, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Yassir Arafat and the Palestinian Terrorists, Hamas and other Muslim terrorist organizations are all dedicated to killing and destruction. They have cell groups all over the United States whose aim is to destroy the Great Satan. Our officials tell us its only a matter of time before the next terroristic attack takes place. I noticed the writer of this letter was very short on specifics and was afraid to sign his or her name. So my question is, How in the world can you even begin to equate fundamental Christianity with fundamental Islam? Please give us some specifics! Cordially,

Paul Schneider
