Coyote County, the Prairie announce game schedules

Thursday, August 21, 2003

Season starts on Sept. 5

Coyote Country 105.3 (KIOD) and 93.9, the Prairie (KSWN) will again provide extensive fall sports coverage for the 2003 season.

Game of the week coverage begins Sept. 5.

"It's an inexact science trying to pick the best match ups in August," said Sports Director Steve Stein.

"We try to pick quality games, while also featuring different schools throughout the season."

The stations will also carry postseason football and volleyball if possible.

The Prairie will also have the High School Scoreboard show each game night from 10 p.m. to midnight CT.

That show will have all the football and volleyball scores from the region plus special interviews and features.

"With the local scores mixed in with ESPN national coverage, we feel like this show provides wire-to-wire coverage which is second to none," said Stein.
