KEARNEY, Neb,. — McCook two-time state medalist Emma Cappel reached the Class B top 25 to finish her Bison cross country career in Friday's Nebraska State Championships at Kearney Country Club course. Cappel's final time of 20:15.5 was 16 seconds faster than her UNK Invitational time across those same 5,000 hilly meters last month.
