Hitchcock students help Hoops for Heart

RPAC track meet cancelled

Sunday's snowstorm wiped out the RPAC track and field meet on Monday at Trenton. All reports say the annual league meet will not be rescheduled with districts next week. The meet was originally scheduled for Wednesday but rained out.

Nature's call turns into long walk for pickup driver who offered a ride

McCOOK, Neb. — A Southwest Nebraska man who pulled over to relieve himself, while traveling on a rural county road, found himself in need of a ride after a woman he was traveling with left with his pickup. The woman, 36-year-old Mindi Y. Relaford of Bartley, accepted a plea agreement recently in Red Willow County District Court admitting to misdemeanor theft stemming from the September 2016 incident.
