Yes, there were many stressful times while working there, but as I worked the closing shift my last few years, a great sense of accomplishment was felt each night as I locked the store up for the day...

The McCook City Council will decide what direction to take concerning hard liquor sales on Sunday, at its regular meeting Monday night at 7:30 at City Council Chambers. Council members will also consider a special exception for a proposed daycare at 702 W. Second. The McCook Planning Commission recommended approval of the special exception at their Nov. 13 meeting despite hearing objections from property owners in the area...
