No. 1 McCook improves record to 5-0; Lexington next For about six minutes Friday night at Weiland Field, Sidney gave McCook a game. Sidney trailed 7-6 with 5:43 left in the opening frame. Then it unraveled for the Red Raiders as the No. 1 Bison poured it on for a 41-6 halftime lead en route to a 62-12 rout. I've always put a lot of stock in peoples' special days. I do that, I guess, because I put a lot of stock in my own. It always makes my heart feel good when people close to me remember my important days and, because they do, I try and always remember theirs too...
