Believe it or not, we're already into the third week of January. By this time, you've probably put away all your holiday decorations, written your Christmas thank-yous, and organized all your 2004 tax information. If so, congratulations! I haven't achieved a single one of those goals yet, but they are on my "to do" list...

Hopefully, the McCook City Council will reconsider its decision to deny the college's request to tear down two houses and put in a parking lot south of the campus. Since the council's 3-1 vote Monday night to deny the zoning change to permit parking, there has been an uproar from college students and supporters. Their criticism is justified...
