School board grants increase

The McCook Public Schools board of education approved an 8 percent raise for Superintendent Dr. Don Marchant at a special meeting Wednesday evening. Dr. Marchant's salary for the 2003-04 school year increases from $104,000 to $112,320. Board members also extended Dr. Marchant's contract from June 30, 2005, to June 30, 2006. Board members will start soon negotiating Marchant's 2004-05 employment package...
