The Southwest Weed Management Area is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator to assist with a wide variety of land management activities along the Republican River and its tributaries. The area of assignment is from the Colorado border to the Red Willow-Furnas county line. Activities will include planning and coordination of noxious and invasive vegetation control, enhancement of native woodland, and coordinating contractual work within the watershed. The candidate must be an effective communicator, have proven skills in leadership, organization, grant administration, and budgeting. The salary will be from $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
