MOB outfit update - yes, found an outfit. NOT a dress but a nice classy pant outfit that is navy with silver ovals. It has a shell with the ovals and the jacket has the ovals it as well. It is a classy outfit (by my own made up definition) because the pants are lined. Yes, it passed inspection by the Bride and Maid of Honor.
Now I have to find grown up shoes that don't have Dr. Scholl's on the label. Seriously, my job means I am on my feet most of the day so my Dr. Scholl's are the best friends for my feet. But I need what I would term - fancy dance shoes. Not that I didn't look the day I found the outfit. I actually found a pair I half-way would tolerate but they were a size too small. Will hunt on line at this point. Then I have to have the "right" jewelry. Goodness!
FOB moment - all he had to do was go get measured for a rented tux. He was fitted amongst all those teenagers who were needed to rent tuxedos for proms. That is just too funny. Seriously, those of you who actually know the FOB - know that he is exceedingly more comfortable in his t-shirts, shorts and Nike shoes. But he is doing what the Bride requested. Even if it means being the absolutely oldest one in the store when getting measured.
Ahh... the things we do for our children. ( I will get even in my old age however.)
