  • I quite enjoy fantasy myself! Have you read anything by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman? They often co-author with one another, and are responsible for the Death Gate series as well as several Dragon Lance books.

  • Here are some of my fav's

Laurell K Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, Kelly Armstrong, L.J. Smith, MaryJanice Davidson, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kate Forsyth, Cate Tiernan, P. N. Elrod, Robert Jordan, etc. I have a stack of books, veterinary magazines and lots of other stuff beside my bed that's my TBR (To be read). I'm currently re-reading JK Rowling's Half Blood Prince in anticipation to the New Harry Potter Book. It's been so long since I read it the first time that I don't remember every little detail.

I think I'd have more pets if I didn't live in town. I have only so much room and 4 cats is pushing it.

  • Hey, Amy! Have you seen the newest Harry Potter movie yet? Should I be brave and take all three of my kids to it? Oh, and if you get through the end of the last Harry Potter book before me, DON'T TELL ME HOW IT ENDS! ;)

  • SPOILERS-- Caution to those who haven't read or seen the movie.

    Lori,

It's on order and should be here the day of, no guarantee's I'll get to spend the whole day reading it.

The movie is very good. It cut out the ghosts, cut out most of Grawp (I didn't care much for that part of the story anyway), Harry didn't have enough Voldemort visions to spike my curiosity (I have read it twice). The fight scene was cool but short (the circle room wasn't included either). Take your kids, It'll be okay.
