HOLBROOK, Neb. - Ronda McCabe, age 53, of Holbrook, Neb. passed away on Thur., May 18, 2023, at Tri Valley Health Systems in Cambridge, Neb.

Ronda was born on Sep. 20, 1969 in Grant, Neb. to Doyle and Lynette (Jarzynka) Hixon.

Ronda had a passion for care taking and worked as a registered nurse, as well as a traveling nurse for many years. Gifted with a green thumb, she enjoyed gardening and growing a variety of plants indoors. She was an excellent cook and was known to spend hours in the kitchen. Her favorite hobby was camping – she absolutely loved being in the outdoors. She had a sense-of-humor that could not be matched and a lively spirit that will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Those left to celebrate her life include her life partner, her mother, one daughter, one son, one granddaughter, two sisters, one brother, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
